  7. HOORAY! How cool is it to set out to and accomplish such a goal. You are all awesome. Love the pictures...so much hard-earned joy!

Veni, vidi, vici...what more is there to say?

We love you! Mom and Dad

PS We do note that the crowd thinned out when Dumptruck took his clothes off..."oh, look at the time...someone's meeting me down at the campground..."

  8. Another super, great, awesome journal entry. So glad to hear that you were able to summit with Grim and Whistle. Especially glad to read the Candy Pants made it all the way to Katahdin. I spent a couple of days hiking with Candy Pants back in late March. Great journey, awesome finish...thanks for sharing.

    Cheers

  9. "Spread Your Wings -- You have gone on your journey and returned enriched and ennobled. You have within you that which you went in quest of. You know now the fullness of your humanity, its frailty, its mortality, its quirks, its limitations. Moreover, the mystery of a greater presence is stirring within. Give yourself over to that which cannot ever be fully known. Let like take you. You are like a young fledgling on the edge of the nest, waiting for its wings to dry before venturing forth. Do not be impatient. All is proceeding as it should. Fear nothing. Wait for the warm updraft and then spread your wings." ~ Austin Repath So happy for you guys!!!

  10. A little belated, but congratulations on finishing the trail. I really enjoyed your posts. They were some of the best written this year. I look forward to your 200 list. Thanks for letting me tag along and escaping the cubicle for a bit. Good luck in whatever's next.
