Whistle CDT

Hello there!

This is Whistle:

I met Whistle while thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2013. We hiked over 1,900 miles together. She then lived with me for a long time. She makes great pies and she laughs so much that you have to watch out for spit-takes.

On March 10th, 2015, Whistle started her long-distance hike of the Continental Divide Trail at the southern terminus, all by herself. The CDT is a 3,100 mile trail from Mexico to Canada, and goes through New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. Much of it is unmarked.

Throughout her hike, she will be leaving me voice messages through an app called Voxer. Here's a better explanation of how this is going to work:Lonesome Whistle Dove
